The W's just won and they better find a way to keep Reggie Williams

In fact, I think Reggie Williams just took Morrow's roster spot. In all honesty I don't know who goes, but Reggie Williams MUST and I repeat MUST stay. I gotta give props to Devean George, he plays much better than Marco could ever play...and sometimes Corey Magette too.

  1. What are the chances that Williams actually gets signed for the remainder of the year?

  2. They have to sign Williams, but the problem is who do they punt? I have three candidates.

    1) Raja Bell - Yes they want to resign him, but Williams is younger and he is looking good.

    2) Anothony Morrow - Morrow and Williams are almost the same player except Williams has better handles. Morrow used to have a better shot once upon a time, but he 1 cannot get open like Williams can and 2 he doesnt have the handles like Williams does.

    3) CJ Watson - CJ has been great as a fill in, but let us face it, we should have punted him to Orlando for a first rounder. CJ also probably doesn't want to resign with the W's, that is why he signed the one year offer to become a unrestricted free-agent next season.

  3. I think they should sign him for the rst of the season, but I have my doubts he'll be here next week. Nellie "LOVED" Coby Karl, he's not around anymore either. I just can't see them waiving any guys who are making more, just to keep him here for 15 games or so.

The bottom line is, he has talent oozing from his pores, but with a losing record, does it make any more sense to lose some more money by waiving someone?

  4. I doubt Coby Karl was loved as much as Williams. The thing with Karl, is he was shorter, and didn't gel very well with Monta and Curry. Williams is much more seemless. He can get to the rim just like Karl, but he can also finish which Karl had issues doing. Karl could not shoot the 3 well either. Bottom line, at least for me, Karl is no where near Williams.

As for your question, yes it does, Williams has upside and he fits perfectly into this team. The more interesting part is who will go if they do?

  5. I guess he needs a good game Saturday to hopefully push the team into keeping him. I believe they have to make the call sometime Sunday on whether he's with the team for the rest of the season or not. I would imagine, if they keep him, that he'll get plenty of run for the rest of the season...somewhere between 22-26 min/game?

  6. I can't guess minutes as Nellie is weird in that respect. Other than Monta and Curry, everyone elses minutes can be in flux. Look at the Laker game where Williams didnt see the light of day. One thing is for sure, if Williams does stay on for the rest of the season, I would start to worry if I was Anthony Morrow.

  7. Can't complain wit what Reggie is giving us now eh? Wish he was a capable of making a few steals or blocks...but that might come. He could be trying to watch the cheap fouls.
